人的本能，是對外間的問題和挑戰作回應。如在寫文章時，能把握人們這種心理反應，利用對話 (Dialogue)、問題 (Question) 作開始文章的第一、二句，很易使讀者產生詳細閱讀此文的興趣，下為一例：

Topic: Is science a blessing to man / The advantages an disadvantages of science and technology advances?

Man may think that science and technology provide for most of his needs, We seem to be quite satisfied with what we have. However, with the unlimited advances in technology, do we know the consequences in the long run?
