我們說廣州話或以中文撰寫文章時,因兩者均是我們母語的關係,故只需找尋適當的字義表達便成;但英語卻十分注重各類詞類的特質,以形容詞來說,形容物件、事情和形容人均有不同之詞語,前者多用現在分詞 (Present Participle, i.e. verb + ing);後者則多用過去分詞 (Past Participle)。試看下例兩例,你便明瞭兩者的分別。
